The action blockbuster film from the ‘John Wick Universe’ <Ballerina> has confirmed its release in domestic theaters on August 6 and has unveiled the main poster and main trailer. The new installment of the John Wick Universe, <Ballerina>, which is set to release in domestic theaters on August 6, follows Eve (Ana de Armas), who grew up as a killer in the assassin organization Ruska Roma, as she confronts the legendary killer John Wick (Keanu Reeves) while pursuing the truth for her father's revenge, and engages in a bloody war in a mysterious city dominated by killers. Chad Stahelski, who directed the entire series of <John Wick>, is involved in production and has led the filming of major action scenes, while Shay Hatten, who wrote <John Wick 3: Parabellum> and <John Wick 4>, contributes to the screenplay, promising an even more expanded ‘John Wick Universe’. Notably, <Ballerina> shares a timeline between <John Wick 3: Parabellum> and <John Wick 4> and continues the originality, offering exciting scenes for fans who enjoyed the existing ‘John Wick’ series.

The newly released main poster hints that <Ballerina> is a series that inherits the unique worldview of the ‘John Wick Universe’ while showcasing an even more expanded universe and diverse action. The first thing that catches the eye is Eve, played by Ana de Armas, holding a gun while draped in a red fur coat. Ana de Armas is a Hollywood star who showcased her unique presence as a CIA agent Bond girl in <007 No Time to Die>, captivating global fans with her outstanding action and exceptional acting skills. In <Ballerina>, she will portray Eve, who dreams of avenging her father, who was murdered before her eyes as a child, displaying intense charisma. Additionally, familiar faces such as Keanu Reeves as the legendary killer ‘John Wick’ with a bounty of $14 million, Ian McShane as Winston, the manager of the Continental Hotel from the existing ‘John Wick’ series, the late Lance Reddick as concierge Sharon, and Angelica Huston as the head of the assassin organization Ruska Roma, further heighten expectations for the ‘John Wick Universe’ <Ballerina> that will showcase an even more expanded worldview.
