Singer Jeokjae Announces Marriage with Heo Song-yeon!

Singer-songwriter Jeokjae (real name Jeong Jae-won) announced his marriage to broadcaster Heo Song-yeon, marking a new beginning. According to the music industry, the couple recently promised to marry and have begun preparations for the ceremony. The specific date and location of the wedding have not yet been disclosed.

On the 1st, Jeokjae shared the news of his marriage on his social media (SNS), stating, "I have found someone I want to spend my life with." He expressed, "I have met a precious person who understands and cherishes me as I am, and we have decided to share our future together." He also added, "I feel a bit nervous, scared, and anxious, but I would be grateful for your warm support and encouragement as I face this new beginning in life."

Starting his music career as a guitarist, Jeokjae debuted as a singer-songwriter in 2014 with his first full-length album 'One Word'. Since then, he has continued to be active, releasing mini-albums 'Fine', '2006', and singles 'I Love You', 'A Day', and the full album 'Cliché'. His representative song 'Let's Go See the Stars' has received much love from the public.

Jeokjae has also been recognised for his musical abilities by participating in arrangements and guitar performances for albums and concerts of fellow artists such as IU, Taeyeon, AKMU, Jung Eun-ji, and Soyou. His fiancée Heo Song-yeon is the sister of KARA's Heo Young-ji, and the two run a YouTube channel 'Heo Sisters' to connect with the public. Heo Song-yeon has been actively working as a broadcaster, appearing on OBS Gyeongin TV's 'Happy Real Estate Research Institute', Channel A's 'Viewer's Room', and tvN's 'Mom, I'm Here'.
