The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama starring Yoon Kyun-sang and Kim Yo-han, <Try: We Become a Miracle>, will premiere on July 25. This work is a comedic coming-of-age sports drama that prominently features rugby for the first time in Korean drama, depicting the story of retired former national rugby player Joo Ga-ram (Yoon Kyun-sang) returning as a contract coach for his alma mater Hanyang High School's rugby team, leading the perennial bottom team to challenge for victory in the National Sports Festival. Joo Ga-ram leads the team with his charming and comedic appeal, alongside the realistic and strong shooting coach Bae Ji (Im Se-mi) and the passionate rugby team captain Yoon Seong-jun (Kim Yo-han), portraying the growth, challenges, failures, and hopes of youth.
<Try> is a new work that continues the lineage of SBS sports dramas following <Racket Boys> and <Stove League>. It promises refreshing visuals, dynamic character play, and the essence of teamwork. The actors approached filming with physicality and passion comparable to actual rugby players, and it is said that the script reading scene was filled with delightful energy and teamwork. The production team stated, "The passion of the actors and the vibrant characters will deliver overwhelming emotion and fresh laughter," forecasting a new wave of sports coming-of-age drama in homes this summer.
