BTS to Make Comeback on March 20... First Full Album in 3 Years and 9 Months

Group BTS will make a comeback with a new album on March 20.

Their agency, Big Hit Music, announced on the 5th that BTS will release their 5th studio album on March 20. This will be the first time BTS releases an album as a full group since their anthology album 'Proof' in June 2022, which is about 3 years and 9 months ago. It has been 6 years and 1 month since their last studio album, the 4th album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7' released on February 4, 2020.

Meanwhile, BTS sent handwritten letters to their fandom 'ARMY' to celebrate the New Year on the 1st, and in the letter, they wrote the date '2026.03.20' to hint at their comeback. The members expressed their feelings, saying, "We have waited more eagerly than anyone else" (RM), "Thank you so much for waiting" (Jin), "Let's have fun together this year too. I love you" (Suga), "Finally, what we have been thinking has become a reality!" (J-Hope), "The year we meet has come" (Jimin), "In 2026, we will create even more wonderful memories, so please look forward to it!" (V), "I miss you! Please take care of us this year too" (Jungkook).

Additionally, following the release of their new album on March 20, BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour. The world tour schedule will be revealed on the 14th.
