〈The Great Flood〉 has once again secured the top spot, setting a new record for Korean films.

The movie 〈The Great Flood〉 is a Netflix original film released on December 19, depicting the story of researcher Koo Anna and security officer Son Heejo who must survive amidst a global flood. Although the film has sparked controversy and divided opinions, its box office performance is signaling a positive trend compared to other Netflix films.

According to Netflix's official tracking site, 〈The Great Flood〉 ranked first in the 'Non-English Films' category from December 29 to January 4, marking its third week since its release on December 19. With three consecutive weeks at number one, 〈The Great Flood〉 has become the 7th highest-ranking Netflix original 'Non-English Film' of all time. This is the highest ranking among Netflix original Korean films, currently recording 11.1 million views.

As of January 4, in addition to 〈The Great Flood〉, the Korean-produced drama 〈Cashero〉 has secured the top spot in the 'Non-English Shows' category, while the cooking survival show 〈Culinary Class Wars: Season 2〉 ranks third, confirming the status of Korean content.
