The sixth story of the popular animation series, 〈Theatrical Version Butt Detective: Star and Moon〉, has unveiled its main trailer featuring the protagonist's shocking transformation into an idol, kicking off the release countdown.

The main trailer, released through CGV's official Instagram, begins with 'Butt Detective' and his assistant 'Brown' deciding to form an idol group, instantly capturing attention. Based on a bestseller that has sold over 10 million copies in Japan, this theatrical version adds a glamorous idol concept to the existing solid mystery structure, promising an expanded fun. The trailer heightens tension by hinting at the adventure of Butt Detective and his team heading to Stardust Island to solve a missing person case that occurred during an idol contest, along with a massive conspiracy hidden behind the glamorous stage.

Particularly, the highlight of this work is the first collaboration with the fateful rival representing the series, 'Thief Yu'. The scene where Butt Detective, who infiltrates to solve the case, teams up with Thief Yu, who appears aiming for the treasure 'Moonstone', while shouting "I won't give up either!" delivers a fresh shock to fans.
