Yoo Hae-jin and Park Ji-hoon shared their thoughts on their special chemistry.

On January 21 (Wednesday), a press screening and press conference for the movie 〈The King and the Man〉 was held at Megabox COEX. On this day, director Jang Hang-jun and actors Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Ji-tae, Jeon Mi-do, and Kim Min responded to questions from domestic reporters.

The movie 〈The King and the Man〉 tells the story of a village chief who voluntarily goes into exile in 1457 Cheongnyeongpo to revive the village and a young former king who is exiled from the throne. 〈The King and the Man〉 is the first Korean film to deal with the hidden story of Danjong, with actor Yoo Hae-jin portraying the warm-hearted village chief Eom Heung-do, and Park Ji-hoon playing the role of Danjong Lee Hong-wi, delivering emotion and lingering feelings.

Yoo Hae-jin said, "When I look into Park Ji-hoon's eyes, emotions naturally come out. So I was grateful while filming." Park Ji-hoon also reflected, "I tried to immerse myself naturally," and added, "I still remember the emotions when I acted while looking into Yoo Hae-jin's eyes." Director Jang Hang-jun added about their chemistry, "Yoo Hae-jin and Park Ji-hoon felt like a father-son relationship. I thought I was blessed to see them caring for, considering, and respecting each other."

The movie 〈The King and the Man〉 will be released on February 4.
