Coupang Play announced on the 11th that it will present a live broadcast in Korean of all events, including the main game of the '2026 NBA All-Star Game', which attracts the attention of basketball fans worldwide every year.

This year, the All-Star Week will feature the boy group 'Cortis' as the first K-Pop artist to take the official stage. Cortis will perform at the halftime show of the 'Celebrity Game' taking place on the 14th (Saturday) at 9 AM (Korean time). Selected as 'Friends of the NBA' for the Asia-Pacific region in January, Cortis is set to deliver a performance that connects K-Pop fans and basketball fans around the world.

On the same day at 11 AM (Korean time), the 'Rising Stars' game will showcase the skills of the next generation super rookies. Top rookie of the year candidate Cooper Flagg (Dallas Mavericks) and last season's rookie of the year, Stephon Castle (San Antonio Spurs), along with many promising newcomers who will lead the future of the league, will participate. Additionally, NBA legends like Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, and Tracy McGrady will join as honorary coaches to complete a matchup that spans generations.

On the 15th (Sunday) at 7 AM (Korean time), 'All-Star Saturday' will take place. Special events unique to the All-Star Game will follow, including a shooting challenge where legends and current players form teams of three to compete, as well as exciting three-point and dunk contests that will leave the audience in awe.

The main event, which will conclude the All-Star Week, will be held on the 16th (Monday) at 7 AM (Korean time). This year, it will feature a new format where two American teams and one World team will compete, promising a different level of tension and immersion. LeBron James (LA Lakers) and Kevin Durant (Houston Rockets), who have been selected for the All-Star for 22 consecutive years, will lead the 'USA Stripes', while Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons) and Scottie Barnes (Toronto Raptors) will lead the 'USA Stars'. The 'World' team, joined by Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) and Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs), will compete fiercely for the All-Star victory and MVP among the three teams.

Commentator Jo Hyun-il stated, "This All-Star Game's new format, where the American team faces off against the World team, is expected to provide fans with a unique level of immersion," adding, "The performances of players selected for their first All-Star, such as Jamal Murray, Jalen Johnson, and Chet Holmgren, will also be a point to watch."

Meanwhile, Coupang Play will exclusively live broadcast major games in Korean starting from the 2025-26 season based on a comprehensive partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA). This will include all games of the postseason, as well as the NBA Finals, and live broadcasts and highlights will be available to anyone subscribed to Coupang Play's 'Sports Pass'.
