The film 〈Kim~chi!〉 tells the story of ‘Min-kyung’ (played by Lee Joo-yeon), who, lost in the purpose of life, begins to capture on camera ‘Deok-gu’ (played by Han In-soo), a dementia-stricken elderly man who waves at his deceased granddaughter every morning. It is a healing drama.

Director Park Cheol-hyun, who holds the megaphone, has meticulously portrayed the healing process of characters experiencing the pain of loss, filling each other's empty moments based on his solid screenwriting skills accumulated through numerous works. This artistic merit has been recognized, winning the Jury Award for Feature Independent Film and the Blue Ribbon Acting Award at the 5th Chungmuro Independent Film Festival, generating high expectations even before its release.

In this work, actress Lee Joo-yeon, a former After School member, plays ‘Min-kyung’, who learns to see the world anew through photography, showcasing her matured emotional acting. In addition, veteran actor Han In-soo portrays the grandfather ‘Deok-gu’, who is losing his memory, grounding the film with a profound presence that reflects his 50 years of acting experience.
