The Netflix series 〈Bloodhounds〉 Season 2 released character stills featuring the intense confrontation between Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, and Jung Ji-hoon (Rain) on the 12th. This season depicts the story of Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) as they once again deliver a thrilling blow against a global illegal boxing league dominated by money and violence after taking down a ruthless loan shark gang.

First, Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) returns with a determined look that catches the eye. To protect his loved ones, Gun-woo faces new threats and has become stronger both physically and mentally over the three years. Woo Do-hwan explained, "Gun-woo has become more relaxed in his environment compared to Season 1, but his desire to chase the dream of becoming a champion has deepened."

The transformation of Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi), who has become Gun-woo's boxing coach, is also intriguing. As Gun-woo's strong supporter and family outside the ring, Woo-jin exudes a more mature and reliable charm. Lee Sang-yi added, "If Woo-jin in Season 1 was like a mischievous child, in Season 2, you will see a mature side that is united in the desire to protect his family."

The presence of the villain Baek Jeong (Jung Ji-hoon) promises explosive tension against the two. Baek Jeong, the architect of the illegal boxing league, is a brutal 'human weapon' who moves solely for money. Jung Ji-hoon, taking on his first villain role after debuting, stated, "Baek Jeong is a figure who reigns as a king in the shadows," and expressed his intention to portray a sensitivity and sharpness as if he is always holding a knife, raising curiosity about the new face of evil he will present.

Director Kim Joo-hwan commented on the deepening bromance between Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi, saying, "The two actors now feel like brothers and family," showing their strong trust. He also praised Jung Ji-hoon, saying, "Baek Jeong is a ferocious tiger that hunts alone," and that "his immense aura and action capabilities are irreplaceable."

〈Bloodhounds〉 Season 2 will be released worldwide on Netflix on April 3rd.
