A promise broken silence for 14 years, and the wedding march finally completed under the name 'family'

Singer 'KCM' will ring 'wedding march' for the first time in a full 14 years since he held his first daughter in his arms. Beyond a simple ceremony, it is the moment when the story of a family that weathered the storms of many years finally bears perfect fruit.

His agency, 'A2Z Entertainment', officially announced on the 6th that KCM will marry his wife, Bang Ye-won, at 'Saebitseom Floating Island' in Seoul on Oct. 4. The wedding is expected to be held with meticulous preparation, as the most splendid and solemn 'wedding'.

The couple’s steps were not smooth. They first tasted joy in 2012 when they welcomed their first daughter, Su-yeon, but the two painful trials of 'military service' and 'business failure' repeatedly struck, forcing them to postpone the ceremony indefinitely. The two people, who did not let go of each other’s hands even at the edge of a cliff, became legal spouses again in 2021 through a 'marriage registration'. After that, they welcomed their second daughter in 2022 and, last year, their third son, one after another, establishing themselves as entertainment industry’s representative 'parents of many children'.

Through his agency, KCM said, "I am beyond words happy that I can finally keep my promise to my wife after 14 years," sharing his deep feelings. He added, "I give infinite thanks to my wife, who endured harsh times quietly, and to my 'three children', who have been the driving force of my life at every moment." He also expressed his determination, saying, "This ceremony will be an occasion for my vow to devote myself to my family alone for the rest of my life, and it will also be a chance to repay the 'fans' and acquaintances who have been by my side for a long time."

KCM, who burst onto the K-pop scene like a meteor with his first regular album in 2004, 'Beautiful Mind(Beautiful mind)', left behind timeless hits such as 'Black-and-White Photos' and 'To Eun-young', backed by a unique and powerfully compelling vocal color. More recently, he has continued close communication with the public through appearances spanning KBS 2TV 'Superman Returns' and his personal 'YouTube channel'. With his moves after passing through a long tunnel and entering a new golden chapter of life, he is drawing a flood of enthusiastic applause from the public.
