Actress Son Na-eun is turning heads with challenging action sequences in SBS’s Fri-Sat drama 〈Agent Kim Reactivated〉.
In the series, Son plays Jeong Sang-ah, an assistant manager at Sangsaeng Savings Bank and an agent in the Special Missions Bureau, and she has been delivering a fearless performance. Early on Jeong appeared as an ordinary bank employee, but later her hidden agent identity is revealed and she rapidly emerges as a central figure driving the show's tension. In episodes 7 and 8, she puts herself in harm’s way to save Kim Bu-jang (So Ji-sub) and his daughter. Son executes lightning-quick bare-handed combat that catches opponents off guard, sharp dagger work in confrontations with infiltrators dispatched to the South, and precise firearms work in which she suppresses targets with an unwavering gaze even in crisis—completing the portrait of a capable special agent. Her multidimensional handling of weapons, notably alternating between a pistol and an animal tranquilizer gun as the situation demands, adds to the intensity of the action.
Son also deepens the character's appeal with nuanced emotional work that moves between the cool efficiency of an operative and the character's personal doubts. As expectations rise for Son Na-eun's expanding range across projects, SBS's Fri-Sat drama 〈Agent Kim Reactivated〉 will air episode 9 on the 24th and conclude with its final episode on the 25th.
