A strange fantasy drama 〈Little Dreamerz〉 in which ‘Geon-woo,’ standing at a dead end, and ‘Mina,’ a wandering teenage girl, search for traces of the dreamworld presence ‘Yoseob,’ has announced a strong lineup of actors who have shown their own color as they move across various films and OTTs.

First, Yoo Hee-je, who has left an impression with realism in dramas such as [The Sea of Tranquility] and [Connection] and has emerged as a next-generation ‘OTT rookie,’ takes on the role of so-called “no-good life” ‘Geon-woo.’ Yoo Hee-je is expected to vividly portray Geon-woo’s anxiety and deprivation as he pulls out all stops to have a premonition-dream, using his trademark natural, everyday acting. In addition, Kim Se-won, who has been recognized for delicate emotional expression through the film 〈Yurim〉 and the drama [I Became a High School Student After Being a Gangster], joins as teenage girl Mina and leads the character’s emotional arc. Having built his presence steadily through independent films, Kim Se-won will showcase even deeper emotional acting in this work, and reveal another side of himself.

Meanwhile, a supporting cast that has kept active across both the big screen and OTT adds depth to the film. In various works such as the film 〈Concrete Utopia〉〈Broker〉〈The Night Owl〉, the ‘shin stealer’ actor Kim Ye-eun, who left a strong lingering impression even with brief appearances, plays ‘Jung-hye,’ Mina’s older sister, delivering a deep, nuanced portrayal of complex feelings between family members. Also, Ji Soo-yeon, who has appeared one after another in buzz-worthy OTT titles including Netflix’s [Hell Season 2] and Disney+’s [Nine Puzzle], takes on the role of ‘Si-eun,’ embroiled in conflict between ‘Geon-woo’ and ‘Jae-seong,’ and will show another facet. Joining them are Bang Tae-won, a KAFA Actors 1st-generation alum who has built solid acting chops through numerous independent films, and Lee Ha-rang, a child actor with a distinctive, mysterious atmosphere—together completing the dreamy ambiance that only 〈Little Dreamerz〉 can deliver.

The press stills released together draw attention because they let viewers glimpse 〈Little Dreamerz〉’s unique worldview and its stylish mise-en-scène. The image of ‘Geon-woo,’ who sees the future through dreams, and ‘Mina,’ who wanders in an uneasy reality, hints at a strange journey ahead—because the two, who previously had no connection, become intertwined at the prompting of the mysterious boy ‘Yoseob,’ sparking curiosity.

In particular, the still of the mysterious boy ‘Yoseob,’ who appears with a forest as the backdrop, instantly captures attention. ‘Yoseob’—a presence that appears only in dreams and a key figure connecting ‘Geon-woo’ and ‘Mina’—highlights the work’s signature atmosphere even more clearly with Korean-toned styling and an enigmatic visual whose identity remains unknown. The stills unveiled this time fully capture 〈Little Dreamerz〉’s distinctive color, where realistic worries of youth coexist with dreamy mystery, raising expectations.

〈Little Dreamerz〉 captures a strange relationship shaped by bold imagination that crosses the boundary between dreams and reality, and character personalities full of originality—when it hits theaters on August 19, it will find its way to audiences.
