Netflix Sets Series 〈Madelesa〉 With Nana, Kim Dan and Jeong Geon-ju

Directed by 〈Queen of Tears〉 director Jang Yeong-woo and written by 〈The Guest〉 writers Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won, 〈Madelesa〉 is a thriller about unsolved murders

Netflix on the 1st confirmed production of its new original series 〈Madelesa〉 and unveiled a cast led by Nana, Kim Dan and Jeong Geon-ju. The series will be directed by Jang Yeong-woo and written by Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won.

〈Madelesa〉 centers on the cold-blooded criminal psychologist and professor 'Madelesa,' her assistant 'Park Seol,' who hides secrets behind an innocent face, and her longtime friend 'Yoo A-ram,' a prosecutor. As they dig into unsolved murder cases, they come face to face with hidden truths and buried emotions.

Nana stars as 'Madelesa,' a professor of criminal psychology traumatized by her past who advises on cases and interrogates criminals herself. Kim Dan plays 'Park Seol,' an assistant who hides secrets behind a smile and helps with investigations while seeking Madelesa's attention. Jeong Geon-ju plays 'Yoo A-ram,' Madelesa's longtime friend and a prosecutor who supports her while keeping a wary eye on Park Seol.

The series is directed by Jang Yeong-woo, who directed the dramas 〈Queen of Tears〉 and 〈Bulgasal〉. The screenplay is by Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won, who wrote the Netflix series 〈Donggung〉 and the drama 〈The Guest〉.

Bringing together a fresh cast and creative team, 〈Madelesa〉 will stream worldwide on Netflix.
