Netflix variety show “Kian’s Bizarre B&B Season 2” unveils first stills of Kian84 and his “Kian wranglers” staff!

Premiering Tuesday, Sept. 22, 〈​Kian’s Bizarre B&B Season 2〉​ is a one-of-a-kind guesthouse variety show in which Kian84, Kim Yeon-koung, Lee Jun-ho and Kazuha welcome guests to Kian’s B&B in Daegwallyeong, a place filled with Kian-style romance. After the first Kian’s B&B floated on the waters off Ulleungdo, viewers are looking forward to the Kian-style romance unfolding at the second location, built deep in the Daegwallyeong mountains in the dead of winter. The second location, shrouded in mystery amid Daegwallyeong’s snowy fields in the previously released teaser, already has an unusual air about it and is drawing intense attention.

More than anything, viewers are eager to see the “chaotic family chemistry” created by “veteran owner” Kian84, whose experience has deepened his concerns about running the B&B and caring for its guests, and “passionate new hires” Kim Yeon-koung, Lee Jun-ho and Kazuha. At the second location, the capable new employees will actively help owner Kian84 while also needling him like “Kian wranglers,” creating a lively back-and-forth.

Now running a guesthouse for the second time, Kian84 has supposedly become more mature(?) as he throws himself into one mishap after another, worrying constantly about whether guests are uncomfortable, whether he is sitting or standing. Kian84 said he had been deeply concerned, like a homeroom teacher tirelessly chaperoning students on a school trip. “Seeing the second location, where my imagination had become reality, was fascinating but also worrying. I felt weighed down by the pressure and responsibility to do a good job,” he said, describing the unusual sense of responsibility he felt at the start of Season 2. Kian84 previewed the new employees’ performances, saying, “Ms. Kim Yeon-koung is warm by nature and had spent a long time living in groups, so she took the lead with the guests. Watching Mr. Lee Jun-ho spend 10 days doing nothing but cleaning, laundry and dishes with all his might made me feel his professionalism. Ms. Kazuha communicated comfortably with the guests, but watching her felt like watching a squirrel that gathers acorns and brings them home alone for survival, then collects fallen leaves to line its bed.”

Kim Yeon-koung, the B&B’s cleanliness manager and mood-maker as well as the specialist in “keeping Kian84 in line,” said, “I knew Season 2 would certainly not be ordinary, but I joined because I was excited to see what kind of story the owner, our staff and the guests would create.” She added, “The most important thing is for the guests to leave Kian’s B&B with good memories, so I focused most on creating an atmosphere where they could feel comfortable. I made an effort to approach them first, talk with them often and create time when we could ‘laugh and enjoy ourselves together,’” explaining her mindset as she took on Season 2. Kim Yeon-koung continued, “The owner always created new situations with his truly freewheeling ideas, and Lee Jun-ho was reassuring because he handled his responsibilities so well. Kazuha’s bright energy and diligence were truly impressive. All four of us were easygoing, naturally made up for one another’s shortcomings and built great teamwork,” raising expectations with her account of the group’s exceptional unity.

Lee Jun-ho, a “sweet, capable worker” who can do everything from cooking to cleaning and a “perfectionist” who worked to organize every situation flawlessly, said, “Season 1 was a memorable and unconventional variety show, so I was curious about what situations would unfold in Season 2.” He added, “I wanted to handle all the physically tiring tasks so every guest could leave with happy memories, so all I remember is working incredibly hard,” hinting at his performance as a professional homemaker. Lee Jun-ho said, “All four of us were people who performed our assigned roles well from our respective positions,” adding, “We worked well together, and our individual strengths came together to form one team. Above all, our greatest strength was that we were all full of energy. We were the best owner and the ideal staff,” offering a glimpse of the group’s physical stamina and strong mentality as they smoothly ran the guesthouse.

Kazuha, the youngest member who works hard at everything and specializes in delivering blunt but accurate reality checks to owner Kian84 and her fellow staff, said, “After watching Season 1, I wanted to experience a special, romantic moment in life and take on a new challenge.” She continued, “Because each guest was spending a precious moment of their life with us, I strongly wanted it to become a good memory for everyone. I worked hard at everything and put my whole heart into whatever I could do. I enjoyed getting to know each guest one by one as we talked,” describing the positive attitude she brought to running the guesthouse. Kazuha added, “As we spent time together, I gradually fell for the owner’s charm, and I was moved by how he would do anything for the guests without sparing himself.” She also said, “The admirable and wonderful Yeon-koung unni took great care of me from the moment we first met, and we never stopped laughing whenever we were together. Jun-ho oppa’s kindness toward the guests left a deep impression on me, and it was fun watching the chemistry between the two of them from the side whenever Yeon-koung teased him,” offering another preview of the warm chemistry among the chaotic family.
