Netflix said on the 13th that 〈The Devil's Plan: Dead Again〉, the third season of its variety series 〈The Devil's Plan〉 (directed by Jeong Jong-yeon and Choi Yoon-hee), will premiere worldwide on Tuesday, Nov. 10. The series is produced by TEO.
〈The Devil's Plan: Dead Again〉 is a brain-based survival competition that pits legendary players who have dominated intellectual survival contests against rising contenders in an expanded arena with unpredictable variables to determine a single ultimate winner. Season 3 pits returning players who have already faced elimination — or "death" — against newcomers in a direct showdown.
The main poster also introduces the 16-player lineup. Leading the cast is Jang Dong-min, the veteran who won five consecutive survival titles, followed by professional poker player Hong Jin-ho, who has accumulated 3 billion won in prize money; "human calculator" Oh Hyun-min; season 1 winner Ha Seok-jin; season 2 winner Jeong Hyun-gyu; poker players Kim Dong-jae, Seo Chul-gu and Yurisa, among other top survival competitors returning to the competition. Also joining are Shin Dong; Hyeon Gyeong-ryeol, a Googler with a Ph.D. from Seoul National University; John Park; Jae Jae; rapper Nucksal; star instructor Lee Do; singer-songwriter Stella Jang; and Jeong Won-young, a hidden talent who has swept various competitions, all set to go head-to-head.
The teaser trailer spotlights contestants reacting to altered rules and captures Jang Dong-min’s overwhelming swagger as he says, "They’re going to be eliminated by me anyway," heightening the tension. Jeong Jong-yeon’s trademark intricate rule design and raw psychological warfare are expected to further ratchet up the tension.
The Netflix variety series 〈The Devil's Plan: Dead Again〉, a 14-episode run to be released across three weeks, will arrive for global viewers on Netflix on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
