Netflix has confirmed production of the K-pop audition project 〈We Go High〉, in which students from South Korea’s top arts high schools compete for their schools’ honor and their most heartfelt dreams. Applications opened today (the 21st).

〈We Go High〉 is a Netflix K-pop girl group audition project that begins at arts high schools, where students major in their dreams. True to its title, the show is expected to capture the earnest passion of arts high school students who dream of reaching for a higher, broader world. The highly skilled students representing South Korea’s arts high schools will meet their perfect rivals on 〈We Go High〉 and create an even stronger synergy. Fans can look forward to the birth of a girl group chosen directly by the world, as Netflix expands K-pop’s global fandom.

Any current first- or second-year student at a high school with an arts- or broadcasting-related major, as well as anyone scheduled to enroll in the 2027 academic year, may apply for 〈We Go High〉. Details are available on Netflix Korea’s official social media channels.

Production and direction will be led by PDs Park Jin-kyung and Lee Jae-seok of Monstera House. The two producers, who have demonstrated their directing skills on variety shows with distinctive worlds of their own, are joining forces on a new audition project that is drawing attention.

Netflix and SM C&C have also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to work together to support the group’s growth and activities after its debut through 〈We Go High〉. Following the program, the two companies will support the debut group’s development and activities across the board, drawing on each company’s role, and work together to help the group showcase its abilities on the global stage.
