Korean Film Archive Marks Hong Sang-soo Director’s Debut 30th Anniversary with Curated Exhibition “Hong Sang-soo: A Retrospective of All Works—Introduction”
From May 2 to June 13, the “KOFA Cinematheque” at Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul will screen all 34 films by director Hong Sang-soo.
Featuring alternating chronological and reverse-chronological screenings from his debut works to his newest releases, viewers can experience the director’s signature “variations” aesthetics.
Rich supporting events include a talk with the director of the Harvard Film Archive, a cinematography master class, and conversations with the audience.
