Oriental Land to launch Disney Imagination, Japan’s first Disney cruise to set sail in 2029 on 140,000-ton ship, second in Asia after Singapore
Targeting short two- to four-night itineraries priced in the 100,000-yen range per person, with a goal of 400,000 passengers annually
Oriental Land, which operates Tokyo Disneyland, will launch Asia’s second Disney-themed cruise ship in 2029. The move is seen as a strategic effort to overcome the limits of its saturated land-based theme park business and expand the Disney experience at sea.
