It has been reported through the distributor BiPoem Studio that Choo Young-woo and Cynthia have been cast as the lead actors in the romance film <Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight>.
This film is a remake of the Japanese film of the same name directed by Miki Takahiro. The original film, which was released domestically in 2021, gained great popularity among young female audiences, attracting 1.21 million viewers.
The remake will also unfold a story with a similar theme to the original. It depicts a love story between a high school girl who loses her memory every time she sleeps and an ordinary male student who leads a mundane life.
Choo Young-woo, who has gained popularity through dramas such as <Ok-ssi Buin Jeon>, <Severe Trauma Centre>, and <Gyeonwoo and the Fairy>, will make his screen debut in this work as the male lead, Jae-won. He is expected to show a gradual transformation as he meets a character named Seo-yoon.
Cynthia has been cast as the female lead, Seo-yoon. She has been actively involved in the movie <The Breakup> and the drama <Someday, I Will Be a Wise Resident>. Seo-yoon suffers from anterograde amnesia but is a character who tries to live happily with a positive attitude.
The film is directed by Kim Hye-young, who was invited to the Berlin International Film Festival with his feature debut <It's Okay, It's Okay, It's Okay!>.
