Actor Park Ji-hoon will appear before viewers in the role of the 'Legendary Cook' responsible for military meals.
Tving announced on the 7th the main casting for the new series <Becoming a Legendary Cook> set to be released next year. It revealed that Park Ji-hoon, along with Yoon Kyung-ho, Han Dong-hee, and Lee Hong-nae, will join the cast.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, this work depicts the process of a cook, who wears an apron instead of a bullet belt and a kitchen knife instead of a gun, growing into a legendary figure in a comedic genre.
Park Ji-hoon takes on the role of the protagonist, Kang Sung-jae, showcasing unique abilities. Kang Sung-jae gains a mystical ability where the state of food and the exact cooking methods visually appear like a game screen, allowing him to develop his cooking skills as a cook.
The main supporting cast is also noteworthy. Yoon Kyung-ho plays Sergeant Park Jae-young, who is nicknamed 'Moving Time Bomb' in the 4th Company to which Kang Sung-jae belongs. Han Dong-hee plays the role of Lieutenant Jo Ye-rin, who has a warm charisma, while Lee Hong-nae takes on the role of Corporal Yoon Dong-hyun, the senior cook.
The production team is also remarkable. Writer Choi Ryong, who is a former cook, penned the script. The direction is handled by director Jo Nam-hyung, who directed the drama <Superior Day>.
