〈Zombie Daughter〉's 'Dong-Thor' Yoon Kyung-ho was almost more shocking in visual appearance.
Released in South Korea on July 30, 〈Zombie Daughter〉 surpassed 700,000 viewers in just two days, and in celebration of its success, several behind-the-scenes stories were revealed. Among them, the story of Yoon Kyung-ho, who played Dong-bae, received a hot response from the audience. Yoon Kyung-ho appeared as Dong-bae, a friend of Jung-hwan (Jo Jung-seok), bringing laughter in various scenes, especially the scene where he appears in a Thor cosplay from Marvel to get a discount at the amusement park, which became the most talked-about moment.
According to the behind-the-scenes story released this time, he was originally not Thor but the DC character Harley Quinn. However, during the preparation process, director Pil Gam-seong suggested the idea of Thor, and considering the overall atmosphere of the work, it was changed to Thor. Thanks to this, in this scene, Bamsun (Lee Jung-eun) says, "Thor? Isn't that a bit off?" and this line is said to be an ad-lib by actress Lee Jung-eun.
Additionally, to show Bamsun's age, Lee Jung-eun went through a makeup test that took 5 hours, and the process of moving the filming location from a mountain village to a seaside village for the film's visuals was revealed. 〈Zombie Daughter〉 is a comedy film that deals with the story of Jung-hwan protecting his only daughter Sua (Choi Yu-ri) when she becomes a zombie, taking care of her in the village where her mother Bamsun lives.
