TXT, Agreement with UNICEF for Youth Mental Health Campaign

Group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) is joining hands with UNICEF to support the mental health of children and youth worldwide.

Big Hit Music announced on the 1st that TOMORROW X TOGETHER attended the global campaign 'Together for Tomorrow' agreement ceremony at the UNICEF headquarters in New York, USA on the 30th of last month (local time). This campaign carries a message of understanding each other without prejudice based on empathy and creating a better tomorrow.

At the agreement ceremony, speaker Soobin stated, "We have shared worries and fears, and hope for tomorrow through music, and many people have told us they found comfort in that," and added, "Through this, we learned that expressing emotions is a sign of strength." He further explained the purpose of participating in the campaign, saying, "We want to create a space where children and youth around the world can freely express their emotions through this campaign with UNICEF."

The members met with UNICEF President Catherine Russell before the agreement ceremony to have a conversation. President Russell evaluated, "Thanks to the message of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, which emphasizes empathy and resilience, we can openly talk about mental health and support all youth in developing the skills they need to grow emotionally, socially, and professionally."

TOMORROW X TOGETHER will begin activities to support the mental health of children and youth through online and offline activities starting next year. In particular, they plan to donate $1.4 million (approximately 2 billion won) to the UNICEF Global Mental Health Fund over the next two years in collaboration with their agency. This donation will be used to support those experiencing mental difficulties and to operate related programs.

Big Hit Music stated, "With this partnership with UNICEF, we expect to expand our role in providing comfort and courage to children and youth facing emotional difficulties."
