Actor couple overcomes nine-year age gap, formalizes marriage through agency and social media

Actors 'Won Hyun-joon', 46, and 'Lee Soo-jin', 37, are getting married. Their camaraderie, which blossomed while working together, has grown into a lifelong partnership.

Won Hyun-joon's agency, 'Prain TPC', officially announced on the 14th that "the two will hold their wedding ceremony on 'Oct. 4'."

That same day, the two actors shared the happy news directly with fans through their respective social media accounts. 'Won Hyun-joon' said, "I have promised to spend the rest of my life with the person I love most," adding, "We want to laugh together in good times from each other's side and stand by each other when things are difficult."

'Lee Soo-jin' responded, "I met the most precious person in my life, and now I am about to become someone's wife and begin a new season together." She added, "I am excited and a little nervous, but I am deeply grateful and reassured to have someone with whom I can share every moment ahead," expressing the bride-to-be's overwhelming emotions.

The pair's relationship deepened last year when they appeared together in the Disney+ original series 'Hyper Knife'. United by their shared profession as actors, they became steadfast supports for each other and are now opening a new chapter as a married couple.

'Won Hyun-joon' made his debut in 2009 in the KBS 2TV drama 'IRIS' and has delivered powerful performances in numerous productions, including 'Itaewon Class' and 'Bad and Crazy'. This year, he made a lasting impression on viewers with his portrayal of Kang Guk-chul, nicknamed 'Ttanggangaji', in the SBS drama 'Manager Kim', which drove the year's highest ratings.

'Lee Soo-jin' made her television debut in 2019 with OCN's 'The Running Mates'. Since then, she has built a solid filmography across a wide range of genres, including 'Miss Monte-Cristo', 'The Good Detective' and 'The Phone You Just Called'.
