'Super Mario Galaxy' Teaser Trailer Reveals New Characters

'Super Mario World' is ready to return with a poster and trailer.

Universal Pictures unveiled the teaser poster and teaser trailer for 〈Super Mario Galaxy〉 on November 13. This sequel to 〈Super Mario Brothers〉, which grossed $1.3 billion worldwide in 2023, features an adventure that expands into space.

The teaser poster depicts the Mushroom Kingdom under a meteor shower, showcasing the characters gazing at it. The teaser trailer begins with Bowser, who was defeated in the previous installment, clashing with the Mario brothers, and introduces new characters like Bowser Jr. and Rosalina, sparking curiosity.

Created by the animation powerhouse Illumination, known for the 〈Minions〉 and 〈Despicable Me〉 series, and the beloved gaming brand Nintendo, 〈Super Mario Galaxy〉 is set to be released in South Korea on April 29, 2026.
