Actor Seo Kang-joon has received the honor of winning his first acting award in his career.
On the night of the 30th at 8:50 PM, during the broadcast of 〈2025 MBC Acting Awards〉, actor Seo Kang-joon won the acting award for the drama 〈Undercover High School〉. The MBC Friday-Saturday drama 〈Undercover High School〉 is a 'comic investigative drama' depicting the chaos that ensues when a National Intelligence Service agent disguises himself as a high school student. Seo Kang-joon played the role of the protagonist 'Jung Hae-sung', showcasing a wide acting spectrum by perfectly switching between the charismatic agent and the natural high school student.
Seo Kang-joon, who announced a successful return after military service as the National Intelligence Service agent Jung Hae-sung, humbly expressed, "I missed this set so much while I was in the military. During the filming of 〈Undercover High School〉, I often thought that I could be replaced at any time. I don’t know how long I will be able to do this job, but I don’t want to be replaced until the day I finish. So, I will become an actor who studies, thinks, and acts more earnestly," adding warmth to the moment.
Meanwhile, 〈Undercover High School〉 won the acting award (Seo Kang-joon), Drama of the Year, Best Actress (Jin Ki-joo), and Best Supporting Actress (Kim Shin-rok), achieving 4 awards at the 〈2025 MBC Acting Awards〉.
