NCT Jeno and Jaemin's drama will be released.
On the morning of the 2nd, Take One Company (CEO Jeong Min-chae) announced that the global K-POP short form platform ‘KITZ’ will launch on January 16. KITZ is a streaming platform that plans, produces, and services premium short form content combined with K-POP artists.
With the launch of the service, KITZ announced that it will exclusively present its first premium short form drama, 〈Wind Up〉, starring NCT Jeno and Jaemin. 〈Wind Up〉 is a sports coming-of-age drama that depicts the sparkling and pure friendship of two boys: a high school baseball pitcher who cannot throw a strike and a transfer student who claims to be his manager. Jeno and Jaemin have been cast as the leads, generating early buzz for the project, which is co-produced by Take One Studio and SM Entertainment. The direction is handled by Kim Sung-ho, who directed the Netflix series 〈Move to Heaven: I’m a Collector of Relics〉 and KBS2 〈The Real Deal〉.
Along with 〈Wind Up〉, KITZ will also feature general short form dramas such as 〈Do You Want to Work Overtime?〉 starring iKON's Koo Jun-hoe, and 〈Sonny's Competition〉 starring Cha Sun-woo and SF9's Jooho. Additionally, various genres of content including human SF 〈Jump Boy LIVE〉, interactive drama 〈Kill the Romeo〉, and fake documentary sitcom 〈The CEO is Lonely〉 will be sequentially released in the first quarter as part of the KITZ premium short form drama lineup.
