Yim Jae Beom to Release Final New Song 'Life is a Drama' Today (6th) Before Retirement

Singer Yim Jae Beom, who announced his retirement after completing his 40th anniversary national tour, will release his new song 'Life is a Drama' at 6 PM on the 6th. His agency, Blue Seed Entertainment, stated that this song is the last new song to be presented to the public.

This new song compares life to a drama, capturing a perspective that views it as a continuous process rather than an ending. Yim Jae Beom expresses his will to move forward in the song, based on experiences he has overcome in the past, even amidst repeated frustrations and moments of stagnation.

The lyrics are written by star lyricist Kim Ina. Through lines like "Don't you send me goodbye / Don't say the end", "You've already overcome something bigger than this", and "Look for a new path behind the crumbling wall", it conveys a message of hope and encouragement.

Meanwhile, Yim Jae Beom will hold his 40th anniversary national tour 'I Am Yim Jae Beom' starting at the KSPO Dome (Gymnastics Arena) in Olympic Park, Seoul on the 17th-18th, and will continue to Suwon, Ilsan, Gwangju, and other locations until May. He announced on the 4th that he will conclude his singing activities after this tour.
