YOASOBI Ikuta Lila, First Solo Concert 'Laugh' in Korea on May 23..."Preparing Hard for Korean Mentions"

J-Pop duo YOASOBI's vocalist Ikuta Lila (Ikura) will hold her first solo concert 'Laugh' at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park on May 23. She shared her thoughts on the concert through the event planning company Rivet on the 15th.

Ikuta, who has received great love from Korean fans, expressed her desire to get closer to domestic fans through this performance.

Ikuta stated, "In my solo activities, I want to convey everyday stories so that the music feels more familiar to fans," and added, "I hope it will be a stage where we can sing and dance together and share warm moments."

Ikuta, the main vocalist of YOASOBI, known for major hits like 'Idol' and 'Running Through the Night', is set to present a diverse performance centered around tracks from her solo album 'Laugh', released last December.

She particularly expressed special affection for 'Cafe Latte', used as the OST for the drama 〈Waiting for the Moon〉, saying, "I wrote the lyrics recalling the first work I sang for an OST," and added, "It became a more meaningful song with the participation of AKMU's Lee Chan-hyuk in composition and arrangement."

Ikuta, who has already held two concerts in Korea through her activities with YOASOBI, has actively communicated with Korean fans as a solo artist through the release of her collaboration song 'Duet' with Zico and her appearance at the '2025 Melon Music Awards'.

Regarding the collaboration process with Zico, she explained, "Zico created the overall sound and lyrics, and I wrote my part myself," adding, "The process of refining the lyrics together while communicating was very enjoyable, and I included some Korean lyrics as well."

Ikuta expressed her wish to enjoy as much chicken and tteokbokki as possible during her visit to Korea, saying, "I am preparing the best performance to create the best memories with fans, so please look forward to it."
