Broadcaster Park Na-rae underwent intense police questioning until dawn due to a legal dispute with former managers. As both sides' claims of 'abuse of power' and 'extortion threats' clash, the investigation is gaining momentum.

According to the Yongsan Police Station and the legal community in Seoul on the 16th (Korean time), Park Na-rae appeared at the police station around 8 PM on the 15th and was questioned as a complainant for about 6 hours until 2 AM on the 16th.

◆ "No abuse of power" vs "Proxy prescription and unpaid expenses"

Park Na-rae has filed a complaint against two former managers for attempted extortion and embezzlement. This investigation is the second one following the first on the 19th of last month. In a recent interview, Park Na-rae stated, "If there was workplace bullying, I will kneel in front of the public," strongly denying the allegations. She also claimed that her salary was increased compared to her previous agency and was paid on time.

On the other hand, the former managers claim that Park Na-rae engaged in workplace bullying, forced proxy prescriptions, and unpaid expenses. They applied for a property provisional seizure worth 100 million won in December last year, and the court has granted it at a scale of 90 million won. Additionally, they are increasing pressure by asserting that Park Na-rae used 130 million won on a corporate card over 14 months.

Currently, one of the defendants, a former manager, is reported to be staying in the United States, making it expected that the investigation will face difficulties in concluding.
