Japan's Box Office No. 1 'National Treasure' Returns to Korea in IMAX on the 25th... Experience the Thrill of Kabuki Once Again

Directed by Lee Sang-il, starring Yoshizawa Ryo... The return of a hit film that surpassed 200,000 viewers

〈National Treasure〉 is meeting Korean audiences again in its IMAX version.

The film 〈National Treasure〉 depicts the life of Kikuo (Yoshizawa Ryo), who was born as the son of a yakuza but lost his entire family and plunged into the world of kabuki. It reached the top of the box office for live-action films in Japan. Directed by Korean-Japanese Lee Sang-il, the film was released in Korea on November 19 last year and surpassed 200,000 viewers.

Now, 〈National Treasure〉 is returning to Korean audiences in IMAX on February 25. Distributor Media Castle released the IMAX version trailer for 〈National Treasure〉 on February 18. While there are no significant differences from the previously released trailer, it has sparked excitement about experiencing the kabuki and the actors' performances in greater detail through IMAX.

With over 200,000 viewers, the IMAX version of 〈National Treasure〉, which was loved by Korean audiences, including the visit of Kurokawa Soya, who played Kikuo's childhood, will be available at CGV IMAX theaters on February 25.
