'Lady Dua' Shin Hye-sun, "What was it like to take on my first Netflix challenge? The snack table was incredibly luxurious"

Actress Shin Hye-sun shared her thoughts on taking on her first OTT drama.

On the afternoon of the 20th, an interview with 〈Lady Dua〉 actress Shin Hye-sun took place at a location in Jongno-gu, Seoul. That day, Shin Hye-sun met with Cineplay to discuss various topics, including behind-the-scenes stories of 〈Lady Dua〉 and her own interpretation of the work.

The Netflix series 〈Lady Dua〉, which was released on February 13, tells the story of a woman named 'Sarah Kim' who wanted to become a luxury item, even if it was fake, and a man named 'Mugyeong' who tracks her desires. Since its release, it has received much acclaim from viewers, ranking third in the global TOP 10 non-English shows.

Shin Hye-sun took on her first OTT project with 〈Lady Dua〉. She said, "In TV dramas, the atmosphere is judged by ratings, but since it was my first time with Netflix, I wasn't sure. However, after 〈Lady Dua〉 was released, even people I hadn't contacted for years reached out to say they enjoyed it. Some even said 'Congratulations'" as she shared her thoughts on the reactions from those around her right after the release of 〈Lady Dua〉.

At the same time, Shin Hye-sun added, "Participating in a project on a platform that the whole world watches was special. Also, the filming set was very generous. The snack table was truly luxurious. It could easily make the actors gain weight. I was very happy, to the point where I didn't even need to eat" which brought laughter to the audience.
