The master of suspense, director Kiyoshi Kurosawa, has released the main trailer for 〈Chime〉. The film 〈Chime〉 tells the story of cooking class instructor Matsuoka, who becomes engulfed in a strange sense of horror after hearing an odd statement from a student about hearing a chime. Director Kiyoshi Kurosawa captures the anxieties and loneliness of modern individuals with his unique cold perspective, guiding audiences into a world of suspense horror that is sharper and more refined, relying solely on mise-en-scène and sound without any provocative devices.

The released main trailer begins with ominous background music that sets a foreboding tone, reflecting the cracks in ordinary life. The dry voice of student Tashiro, speaking to cooking class instructor Matsuoka about the chime bell, sends chills down the viewer's spine. Following this, the significant phrase “It definitely exists in this world” and Tashiro's confession, “It’s sending me a message,” amplify the curiosity about the ominous signals conveyed by “the inexplicable”.

With the release of the main trailer, 〈Chime〉 promises a different dimension of suspense and will be available in theaters on March 4.
