The representative musician couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon, along with composer Noh Young-sim, who created the melody for 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', have come together to help youth with developmental disabilities find love. Through the theme song 'Different' for SBS Special 〈My Heart is Fluffy - Monggeul Counseling Center〉, they plan to deliver warm comfort and excitement.
Noh Young-sim composing, Lee Hyori singing, Lee Sang-soon producing… An unusual 'musical gift'
The first broadcast of 〈Monggeul Counseling Center〉 on the 8th will deal with the first romance challenges of youth with developmental disabilities. Directed by PD Ko Hye-rin, who won the Baeksang Arts Award for 〈The School and the Aftermath〉, the couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon will serve as 'counselors', drawing attention, while music director Noh Young-sim, who empathized with their sincerity, has joined to complete a strong OST lineup.
The theme song 'Different' is an unreleased track that Noh Young-sim wrote while working on the drama 〈Extraordinary Attorney Woo〉. After hearing the program's purpose from Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon, Noh Young-sim generously gifted the song and even re-recorded the piano performance out of deep affection. With Lee Hyori's unique vocal tone and Lee Sang-soon's delicate production, the song's quality has been enhanced.
“Please be by my side as you are”… Warm lyrics that affirm differences
Lee Hyori, who is in charge of the vocals, expressed her thoughts, saying, “The song was so good, and I was happy to sing it as I could express the feelings I felt while meeting friends at the counseling center.” She added, “We all feel lonely and fear being different. This song is a confession that asks to be 'by my side as you are' without pretending to be okay,” urging listeners to focus on the lyrics.
Producer Lee Sang-soon also mentioned, “Noh Young-sim's song fits the program so well,” and conveyed, “I put my sincere hope that, like the lyrics, you will look at us just as we are.”
