JYP Entertainment's global girl group GIRLSET has made a powerful entry into the global music market with the release of their new song 'Tweak', filled with retro vibes.
◆ Vintage R&B New Song to Follow Spotify Success
GIRLSET released their new digital single 'Tweak' and its title track at midnight on the 6th (local time). The four-member girl group, which debuted in August last year and is active mainly in the United States, achieved remarkable success with their previous song 'Little Miss', entering a total of 23 regional charts, including 8th on the Spotify Daily Viral Songs US chart and 13th on the global chart. The new song 'Tweak' is inspired by the hit song 'Weak' by the American R&B group SWV, and it charmingly embodies the unique vintage sound from the late 1990s to the early 2000s.
◆ Synergy of Park Jin-young and Diego Ave, Bold Message
This new song features JYP's representative producer Park Jin-young (J.Y. Park) and Grammy-winning global producer Diego Ave, who both participated in the song's production, elevating its musical completeness to the highest level. GIRLSET delivers a bold and confident message of "Don't think that I'm weak" over a relaxed and groovy R&B melody, showcasing the harmonious and mysterious vocal tones of the four members to listeners around the world.
◆ Spanish Version Release Followed by Local Radio Appearance
Following the new song's release, the complete music video for 'Tweak' will be unveiled at 2 PM on the 6th, and at the same time, the Spanish version 'Tweak (En Español)', co-written by members Camila and Savannah, will be released on iTunes. Subsequently, GIRLSET will appear on the famous American radio program 'iHeart KPOP with Jojo Live' at noon on the 7th, where they will perform the new song for the first time, continuing the hot worldwide excitement.
