Taemin Becomes Part of the Family with G-Dragon and Song Kang-ho... Transferred to Galaxy Corporation

Taemin, a member of the group SHINee and a distinctive solo artist, has found a new home at Galaxy Corporation, an artificial intelligence (AI) entertainment tech company.

Galaxy Corporation announced on the 11th, "We have signed an exclusive contract with artist Taemin," stating, "We will spare no effort in providing full support so that Taemin's unique artistic capabilities can create a powerful synergy with our cutting-edge technology."

Positioning itself as the first AI entertainment tech company in the country, Galaxy Corporation is developing a business that integrates the latest technologies such as AI and robotics into entertainment content. Taemin's recruitment is interpreted as a strategic choice by the company to create new added value by merging the intellectual property (IP) held by the artist with digital technology. As a result, Taemin will now share a meal with renowned stars such as G-Dragon, actor Song Kang-ho, and broadcaster Kim Jong-kook.

Debuting in 2008 as part of SHINee, Taemin led the K-pop craze with hit songs like 'Replay' and 'Ring Ding Dong', and after his solo debut in 2014, he established his own solid performance area by releasing tracks such as 'Criminal', 'Move', and 'Want'. Notably, he has reaffirmed his global influence by successfully completing a total of 37 performances in 20 countries during his first solo world tour 'Ephemeral Gaze', which started in 2024.

Having joined Galaxy Corporation after passing through SM Entertainment and Big Planet Made, Taemin is set to participate in various global projects that incorporate AI and robotics technology. Taemin's first step in this new journey is expected to be at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' held in California, USA, in April.
