'MetaComedy' X 'Yoshimoto Kogyo', Laughter Without Borders… Launching a New Chapter in Korea-Japan Comedy

When two major comedy powerhouses representing Korea and Japan come together, they will put on a historic stage that breaks down barriers between language and culture.

In a major collaboration, 'MetaComedy', a uniquely dominant comedy label in Korea, has teamed up with Japan’s largest entertainment agency, 'Yoshimoto Kogyo'. The two companies announced on the 10th that they will host a large-scale Korea-Japan co-produced comedy show at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th of next month at Mary Hall, Sogang University, in Seoul.

The official title of the event is 'Babohoe’s Presentation Tokyo Owarai Live in Korea Volume.3 by MetaComedy'. Top comedians who lead the comedy scenes in both countries will come together in large numbers, delivering standout performances and a variety of skits.

Two Comedy Giants Driving Change in the Asian Comedy Market

'MetaComedy' is a leading homegrown agency in Korea, with key talent spearheading Korea’s comedy trends—such as 'Kim Hae-jun', 'Kim Won-hoon', 'Lee Yong-ju', 'Jung Jae-hyung', 'Kim Min-soo', and 'Eom Ji-yoon'—all under one roof.
