'Master of Silent Film' Buster Keaton Masterpiece Collection to Be Held on April 22…Seven Press Stills Released

Silent-film icon Buster Keaton is coming to Korean theaters.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the release of 〈The General〉, the deadpan comedy master 'Buster Keaton Masterpiece Collection' will be held on April 22. Keaton, known for his signature expressionless character nicknamed the 'Stone Face,' combines countless stunts and imaginative humor, and is still regarded today as one of the greatest figures in film history.

Ahead of the April 22 opening of 'Buster Keaton Masterpiece Collection,' seven press stills were released on April 13. The lineup includes 〈Three Ages〉, 〈Our Hospitality〉, 〈Sherlock Jr.〉, 〈The Navigator〉, 〈Seven Chances〉, 〈The General〉, and 〈College〉. You can get an early look at the collection’s highlights. The films featured in this collection use 5K digital scans and orchestral music newly composed and arranged in the 2020s, delivering the vivid feel of classic cinema across a century of time.
