'Tomorrow X Together', Returning With the 8th Mini Album After Renewing Contracts as One... 'BTS' 'RM' Offers Support

Global idol group 'Tomorrow X Together' kicked off a successful second chapter by announcing its first comeback after all members completed contract renewals with its agency. At the album-release commemorative showcase for the eighth mini album 'Seven Years (7TH YEAR): When the Wind Paused for a Moment in the Thicket', held on the 13th at Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, the members said they completed the album by returning to the mindset from their debut days. This is a moment where 'TXT'’s unshakeable unity shines through.

'Tomorrow X Together', which finalized all-members contract renewals with Big Hit Music last year, expressed special affection for the group. Member Taehyun emphasized that the agreement took less than an hour. In particular, he went to ask advice from 'RM', 'BTS'’s senior from the same agency, and an anecdote was revealed that 'RM' shared even past renewal materials for 'BTS' and offered sincere encouragement without holding back. This drew attention.

This new record captures, without any omissions, the internal anxiety and the agonizing uncertainty of 'Tomorrow X Together' over the past seven years. While previous albums used a boy as the narrator, in this 'Seven Years', the members themselves step into the starring roles and sing their candid feelings directly. You can glimpse the musical maturity of 'TXT' that has advanced one step further as an artist.

The title track 'Only a Day, One More Day (Stick With You)' is an electropop genre piece with a strikingly powerful chorus; it depicts a bittersweet longing to hold onto love that seems to be running out. All six tracks included boast high completion, and especially in the music video, popular Chungmuro actor 'Jeon Jong-seo' plays the role of a lover, further heightening the track’s narrative immersion.

Members of 'Tomorrow X Together', which easily cleared what is called the “seven-year curse,” repeatedly stressed the meaning of this comeback. They proved that they grew by feeding on the gap between ideals and reality they experienced right after debut and the hardships that came from it. 'TXT' once again reaffirmed their value with steady live performances and top-notch stage presence.

Starting from this new period of activity, 'Tomorrow X Together' signaled that it would infinitely expand its musical spectrum. Along with setting a clear goal of reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard main chart, the group also made a strong commitment to keep the team intact and stay in sync with fans around the world for a long time.
