'21st Century Perfect Crown Lady'—IU’s Sidekick, the Publicity Team Leader Yoon Byung-hee Steals the Spotlight with a Special Appearance

Actor Yoon Byung-hee made a special appearance in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 〈21st Century Perfect Crown Lady〉.

〈21st Century Perfect Crown Lady〉 is a romance drama set in South Korea’s constitutional monarchy era, following chaebol Seongheeju (IU), a woman of commoner origins, and the king’s son, Crown Prince Ian Daegun (Byeon Woo-seok). In the drama, Yoon Byung-hee plays the publicity team leader for “Castle Beauty,” the company run by Seongheeju.

In Episode 1 of the previously aired run, Yoon Byung-hee appeared as someone who receives instructions from CEO Seongheeju after the company’s sales figures fall short. She was tasked with planning viral article marketing using the news surrounding His Royal Highness’s birthday celebration, Prince Consort Tanjeol-yeon. After her publicity plan was criticized, she then portrayed an anxious office worker.

In Episode 2, she received a secret order to track down information about Crown Prince Ian Daegun and carried it out. After mobilizing an acquaintance to find the prince’s usual whereabouts, she handled a scene in which she delivered a USB containing the relevant information to assistant Do Hye-jung (Lee Yeon) and checked whether she had been added to the official group chat.
