The film captivated audiences by depicting the story of a filming team that heads to the reservoir of Salmokji, where strange rumors refuse to die down, drawing from real-life anecdotes from Salmokji, where ghost stories never seem to end.

Released on April 8, 〈Salmokji: Whispering Water〉 surpassed 1 million viewers on its 10th day. Along with the cast’s 1-million milestone proof photos, it expressed gratitude for the milestone by unveiling makeup photos prepared for a special stage greeting.
