Kim Seon-ho to Become 'the Nation's Grandson'... First Teaser for 'Bonjour Bakery' Released.

Coupang Play's new variety show 〈Bonjour Bakery〉 has released its first teaser trailer.

On April 21, Coupang Play unveiled a teaser video for the baking variety show 〈Bonjour Bakery〉, set in a 'senior dessert cafe' that opened in a rural village. The video shows local seniors, who entered the cafe after an ID check, tasting French desserts for the first time.

The cast's roles were also revealed. Actors Kim Hee-ae and Kim Seon-ho will serve as the 'front-of-house team', taking orders and chatting with the seniors and handling customer service duties. Actors Cha Seung-won and Lee Ki-taek will form the 'chef team', running the kitchen and creating a variety of desserts using domestically sourced ingredients.

The program is directed by PD Park Geun-hyung, who directed 〈You Quiz on the Block〉 and 〈Spanish Guesthouse〉, and writer Kim Ran-ju, who wrote 〈2 Days & 1 Night〉 and 〈Infinite Challenge〉, also participated. Production is handled by Studio Yeoreumnal.

Regarding the concept, writer Kim Ran-ju said, "It started from the memory of my father smiling brightly when he tasted a dessert for the first time in his life," and PD Park Geun-hyung explained, "Our goal is to provide seniors with a special experience through French desserts made with healthy ingredients."

〈Bonjour Bakery〉 will be released on Friday, May 8 at 4:00 PM on Coupang Play.
