Rebecca Ferguson Makes a Big Return to the Underground—‘Silo’ Season 3 Confirmed for July 3!

Apple TV+’s popular sci-fi thriller ‘Silo’—titled ‘Silo: The Secret in the Silo’ in some markets—has confirmed Season 3 will premiere on Friday, July 3, and the first stills have been released.

‘Silo’ is a sci-fi thriller set in a future where the outside world lies in ruins and people are exposed to lethal toxins. It follows the last 10,000 or so humans left on Earth as they build a vast community across hundreds of underground levels. ‘Silo: The Secret in the Silo,’ the dystopian trilogy by author Hugh Howey and a New York Times bestseller adapted into an international hit, has confirmed its Season 3 premiere for Friday, July 3, and unveiled the first stills. Praised for its original world, ‘Silo: The Secret in the Silo’ tells the story of the last 10,000 or so humans who survive by taking refuge in the underground silo—a hiding place 140 meters deep—in a world shrouded in hazardous material. In Season 3, the series continues its dystopian universe while also promising the long-awaited reveal of the silo’s origins, centuries in the making. At present, ‘Juliette’ (Rebecca Ferguson) returns after being forced to undergo a sensor-cleaning procedure—leaving her with no memories—and the silo, which had been trying to rebuild following the rebellion, now faces new threats. Meanwhile, in an era long before the silo existed, reporter ‘Helen’ (Jessica Henwick) and congressman ‘Daniel’ (Ashley Zukerman) trace a massive conspiracy, only to get pulled into events that will lead to an irreversible catastrophe—raising even more curiosity.

The newly released stills depict the world preparing itself before today’s humanity can survive inside the silo, drawing attention immediately. In particular, alongside the chaotic look of ‘Juliette,’ the scenes featuring ‘Helen’ and ‘Daniel’ before the hazardous material overtakes the world add even more intrigue. With a story that moves back and forth between the past and the present, ‘Silo’ Season 3—expanding the universe even further—will consist of 10 episodes in total. Starting with the first episode on Friday, July 3, new episodes will be released every week through Apple TV through Friday, September 4. You can watch Seasons 1 and 2 of ‘Silo: The Secret in the Silo’ right now on Apple TV and on the Apple TV channel on TVING. The Apple TV app is also available on Android.

In Season 3 of ‘Silo,’ the returning starring cast—Rebecca Ferguson, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Abby Nash, Alexandra Riley, Shane McRae, Remi Ainsn?er, Rick Gomez, Billy F. Pospisil, and Clare Perkins—adds to the anticipation. In addition, Ashley Zukerman and Jessica Henwick, who appeared in the final episode of Season 2, return for Season 3, joining Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morgan Kr?stie, Reed Birney, Matt Craven, and Colin Hanks. Steve Zahn—who also appeared in Season 2—will return as well, setting the bar even higher for quality.

‘Silo,’ which has already confirmed production through Season 4—its final season—“truly outstanding”, “extremely satisfying”, and “one of the best sci-fi series currently available” has captivated audiences around the world. Produced by Apple Studios, ‘Silo’ features Graham Yost, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Tappe, Rebecca Ferguson, Morton Tyldum, Hugh Howey, Amber Templemore, Fred Golan, Remy Oue?cn, and AMC Studios, with all of them serving as executive producers.
