Actor Ryoo Seung-bum was reportedly found out belatedly to have violated a bus-only lane while using a company vehicle owned by his agency. In response, the agency formerly representing him said it had completed payment of a traffic fine and issued an official apology.

On the 23rd, Ryoo Seung-bum’s former agency, Wayeen Entertainment, said in an official statement, "In the course of Ryoo Seung-bum driving the company vehicle in 2024, he was assessed a traffic fine for a violation of a bus-only lane," adding, "After checking the notice, we completed the payment measures immediately."

It then added, "We sincerely apologize, bowing our heads deeply, for failing to thoroughly comply with traffic laws regardless of the reason." However, it did not comment on the specific number of times the fine was imposed or the amounts.

Earlier, an entertainment outlet reported that Ryoo Seung-bum committed multiple violations of bus-only lanes while directly driving the company vehicle during this year’s Netflix film “Good News” shooting. Ryoo Seung-bum, who married an artist from Slovakia in 2020, currently lives while traveling between South Korea and overseas. It was reported that, because he does not have a personal vehicle in South Korea, he has also used the agency’s vehicle for personal purposes.

Meanwhile, Ryoo Seung-bum, who signed an exclusive contract with Wayeen Entertainment in 2023, has recently left the agency after his contract term expired.
