
The Netflix movie 〈Good News〉 continues to draw a hot response in its second week of release, unveiling a warm atmosphere with its second set of unreleased stills. Set in the 1970s, the film depicts the suspicious operations of a group of people who gather to land a hijacked plane at all costs. The unreleased stills capture everything from the shining moments of the actors' performances to the cheerful scenes on set.
First, in the released second set of unreleased stills, we can catch glimpses of the elite Air Force lieutenant Seo Go-myung (Hong Kyung) perfectly immersing himself in his role, as well as the character Amu (Seol Kyung-gu) transforming into a Western hero in Seo Go-myung's imagination. Hong Kyung's portrayal of Seo Go-myung indicates the birth of his new life character. Ryu Seung-beom's smile, both in front of and behind the camera, sparks curiosity about his character, the unyielding power figure Park Sang-hyun. Additionally, we see the captain Kubo (Shina Kippei) and co-pilot Maeda (Kim Sung-oh) disembarking from the hijacked plane, along with the Japanese Deputy Minister of Transport Shinichi (Yamada Takayuki) in a tense moment. The life-and-death situation of needing to land the plane heightens the curiosity about how their fates will unfold. The actors who heightened the tension in the film with their roles as armed group members are seen embracing bouquets, vividly conveying the joyful atmosphere of the final shooting day. Furthermore, Jeon Do-yeon, who added a strong presence to the film, and Lee Yeon and Choi Hyun-wook, who made surprise appearances as a Japanese couple, significantly raise interest in 〈Good News〉.
