Jennie Returns to Madrid’s Night Sky…Conquers Three Major European Festivals

Jennie, a BLACKPINK member, fully seized Madrid at the heart of Spain. According to her agency, OA Entertainment (Odd Atelier), Jennie took the stage on Sept. 9 (local time) at the massive music festival “2026 Mad Cool Festival (2026 MAD COOL FESTIVAL)”, marking a historic milestone by becoming the first—and the only—“headliner” main-stage performer among K-pop artists.

The performance that night was nothing short of overwhelming. Tracks packed with high-intensity acts, including “Mantra,” “ExtraL,” and “like JENNIE,” sent the crowd into a frenzy of nonstop group chants. Then “Handlebars” and “Seoul City” followed, as she belted out songs infused with the kind of deep sensibility she is known for—proving, without filtering, her endless “musical spectrum.”

Now in its 10th year, “Mad Cool Festival” is a top-tier music festival representing the European continent. Jennie added her name to the marquee lineup alongside global pop stars such as Charlie Puth and Zara Larsson, reestablishing her “global status” once again.

Her unstoppable global run is still very much underway. After previously closing out the Denmark “Roskilde Festival” and Poland “Opener Festival,” she capped it off by sweeping the Spanish stage as well, dazzlingly snatching up “three of Europe’s biggest music festivals” in one go. With Jennie putting a period on her successful European tour, she is set to hit the stage consecutively at the United States’ “Lollapalooza Chicago” and Japan’s “Summer Sonic 2026,” and is expected to share hot, face-to-face musical energy with fans around the world.
