It is the first time in history that a Korean artist has claimed ‘headliner’ spots in succession at two top-tier, high-prestige music festivals in Europe.

Praise from big names in the local music industry also followed. Thomas Schønberg Jebsen, music director of ‘Roskilde’, said, ‘Jennie’’s arrival cuts through the trends of the era and was the most perfectly proof of our festival’s identity as we move toward the future,” adding that he had nothing but praise. The ‘Opener’ event organizers also reaffirmed her solid global standing, describing her as the ‘female artist’ wielding the most powerful influence among her contemporaries.

Previously, ‘Jennie’ proved her box-office momentum as a global ‘pop star’ when her song ‘Dracula’ with Tame Impala landed at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard main singles chart, ‘Hot 100’.
