‘Global Pop Icon’ that swept across the European continent, with a limitless ability to command the stage

Jennie of the girl group ‘Blackpink’ (BLACKPINK) took the stage one after another as a ‘headliner’ at two massive music festivals representing Europe—Denmark’s ‘Roskilde’ and Poland’s ‘Opener’—setting a new milestone for ‘K-pop’. Beyond just being a K-pop artist, his moves have firmly established him as a central pillar of the global pop scene, and the pace shows no sign of slowing.

According to her agency, ‘OA Entertainment’, ‘Jennie’ lit up Denmark’s ‘Roskilde’ stage on the 3rd (local time), and then completely took command again the following day, on the 4th, at Poland’s ‘Opener’ festival. It is the first time in history that a Korean artist has claimed ‘headliner’ spots in succession at two top-tier, high-prestige music festivals in Europe.

At that performance, she unleashed her lineup of hit songs that have struck audiences around the world—starting with ‘Mantra’—then ‘ExtraL’ (ExtraL), ‘Starlight’ (Starlight), ‘Like JENNIE’ (like JENNIE), and more, all delivered through explosive live performances. With her overwhelming performance and stage presence, tens of thousands of local concertgoers answered with enthusiastic crowd chanting.

Praise from big names in the local music industry also followed. Thomas Schønberg Jebsen, music director of ‘Roskilde’, said, ‘Jennie’’s arrival cuts through the trends of the era and was the most perfectly proof of our festival’s identity as we move toward the future,” adding that he had nothing but praise. The ‘Opener’ event organizers also reaffirmed her solid global standing, describing her as the ‘female artist’ wielding the most powerful influence among her contemporaries.

Previously, ‘Jennie’ proved her box-office momentum as a global ‘pop star’ when her song ‘Dracula’ with Tame Impala landed at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard main singles chart, ‘Hot 100’.

Her meteoric run is not stopping. With major festival appearances worldwide—Spain’s ‘2026 Mad Cool Festival’, the United States’ ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’, and Japan’s ‘Summer Sonic 2026’—already set to take place, music fans around the world are fully focused on her.
