A musical rebirth for a global mega IP, with an original soundtrack that’s prized for collectability

'Pokémon', which has a massive fan base worldwide, is meeting the public through music as a new medium to mark its 30th anniversary. 'KT GenieMusic' announced the immediate release of the “TV Anime Pokémon Original Soundtrack (OST) Album,” which captures the history and emotion of a popular intellectual property (IP), following a strategic collaboration with Pokémon Korea announced on the 16th.

The project stands out for its meaning because it went beyond simply releasing digital tracks and was designed in the form of a 'physical album' that fans can directly handle and keep. By expanding the IP consumption style that previously focused on the visual experience into the audio realm, it is fueling collectors’ intense desire to own.

The track list also boasts a standout lineup. The opening theme from the TV anime “Pokémon: Rico and the Road Adventure,” “We Go,” which became a talking point after being sung by global K-pop group 'aespa', is included. In addition, the set also features the key OST songs that run through the story, including the main theme tracks from the latest aired work, “Pokémon: Rising Again,” for a total of eight songs.
