‘Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub,’ Chuseok’s Only Crime Caper, Unveils Two Main Posters!

〈Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub〉 has unveiled two main posters ahead of its Sept. 23 release. The two posters, filled with red, herald a bold and alluring rush of crimson for theaters this Chuseok holiday. The characters stare each other down without a hint of a smile, foreshadowing a brutal, high-stakes crime caper set at the gambling table.

The first poster places the characters inside an ace of spades. The faces of Jang Tae-young and Park Tae-young, positioned at opposite ends of the card and looking away from each other, immediately draw the eye. The spade has long symbolized the devil, echoing the film’s question of which of the two men is the devil. "The friend you trusted most became the cruelest card in the deck"— a tagline that hints at what happened between them. Kaneko (Miyoshi Ayaka), staring straight ahead between the two men, wears the chilling expression of someone who designs high-stakes contests. The other figures surrounding the pair also command attention. Kwak Dong-wook (Jo Woo-jin), the professional gambler who teaches Jang Tae-young about life, and Jo Joong-hwan (Yoon Kyung-ho), the hit man who will determine the fates of Jang Tae-young and Park Tae-young, are also featured.

The second poster brings together the full cast of 〈Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub〉, promising a wealth of spectacle. Against a red backdrop, Jang Tae-young and Park Tae-young face each other, flanked by Sasaki (Tsuyoshi Ihara), a businessman with ties to the yakuza, and Chairman Tao (Hong Dao), a Vietnamese power broker. Jo Joong-hwan points a gun, while Hama (Kim Min-ho) and Jang Tae-hee (Lim Se-mi), who have stood by the two Tae-youngs, join the lineup, raising questions about how their stories will become intertwined. The stacks of chips and bundles of cash at the bottom of the frame reveal the scale of the contest.
