Blood-soaked nightmare at 50 times the hourly wage: Netflix horror evolves

Global streaming service 'Netflix' will release a new horror series starring actor Lee Jae-wook, 'Sweet Gig', on the 30th.

'Sweet Gig' is set at a bizarre employment agency offering extraordinary conditions, starting at 50 times the standard hourly wage. A young man buried in debt is lured by the sweet promise into taking an extremely high-paying temporary job, only to be sent to a horrifying workplace beyond his imagination. The series follows his brutal struggle for survival in unflinching detail.

Lee Jae-wook, who has demonstrated his strong acting skills, anchors the series as 'Hyeok-jun', a young man caught in the trap of an exorbitant daily wage. Joining him is Lee Hee-joon, whose commanding charisma creates taut tension as the 'Boss', the mysterious employment-agency owner who ensnares Hyeok-jun with an irresistible hourly wage.

Go Min-si, who has made a powerful impression in every project, plays 'Yeon-joo', an accident investigator at the Occupational Accident Protection Center who sharply probes the truth behind the case. Kim Min-ha joins the cast as Hyeok-jun's younger sister, 'Ji-yoon', adding greater depth and emotional weight to the story.
